English-speaking property & tax solicitor · Menorca
Buying and selling, tourist licences, non-resident tax and inheritance. One lawyer, in English and Spanish.
If you own or buy a home in Menorca and live abroad, the legal and tax side gets complicated: the purchase, the licence, non-resident tax, an inheritance. We handle all of it, directly and in your language, so you never have to fight Spanish bureaucracy. One firm, from start to finish.
Property Conveyancing
We handle the whole purchase or sale: land-registry due diligence, reservation contract, tax, notary and registration. One firm from start to finish, in English and Spanish, with every detail under control.
Tourist Licence in Menorca
Behind an ETV sit fiscal, administrative and technical duties that are rarely checked, and Balearic penalties are among the highest in Spain. We confirm whether yours is in order and, in a purchase, whether it is valid and transferable.
Hugo Rodríguez
“A tourist licence with defects can result in financial penalties and permanent revocation. And with it, everything it generates.”
“In a property purchase, failing to check the true status of the property can prove very costly. And it always comes to light after you have signed.”
I have practised since 2020 with a deliberately narrow focus: property and tax law in Menorca, with tourist licences as my core specialism. Most owners assume that having a licence is enough. It is not, and that gap is precisely where I come in.
I guide buyers and sellers through every step of the transaction: from reviewing the property and negotiating the reservation contract to completion at the notary and land registry filing. In Spanish and in English, so that nothing is lost along the way.
I work with Spanish and international clients, in both languages. I understand the situation of those managing their property from abroad who simply need to know everything is in order, without having to check it themselves.
